The St. Paul’s
Family Reading Challenge is an opportunity for you and your
family to spend time reading and learning together. Copies of the
bible stories are available in our church library for every age and
reading level. Early readers can practice their reading skills while
increasing their knowledge of the Bible. Some families may decide to
read and explore these stories together using a Bible such as the
Good News for Modern Man or other easy to
understand version. (See the list below for suggestions) |
|
How This Works: |
| |
Pre-school & Early Readers: |
| 1. |
Read a Bible story with your parents.
You can find them in a children’s Bible or book of Bible stories.
You can also check the church library for books that tell these
stories. |
 |
| 2. |
Record the date that you read the
story and any ideas or questions about it |
| 3. |
When you have finished a story, fill
out your reading record and bring it to Sunday School. Your name
will go on the list of St. Paul’s Great Readers, AND you can pick a
treat from the “God’s Word” surprise box.
